Giving birth is a miraculous, spiritual, extraordinary event. For many women, it is a deeply anticipated moment and holds a special place in their lives.

I am passionate about helping couples achieve the type of birth they want.  I provide skilled, nurturing birth services to expectant families in the Seattle area.  I offer guidance, information, physical and emotional support before and during the birth of your child.  I will assist you in preparing for the incredible emotional power and the pure joy of this event.

I believe giving birth should be positive, and empowering.  I believe the process of bringing the new life of your child from your body into the world should be wonderfully brilliant and amazingly memorable.

A woman’s role during labor is to focus her mind and body on birthing her child. Her partner’s role is to love and support her unconditionally.  A doula’s role is to support that partnership and offer her experience and expertise to the laboring couple.
